Coastal and marina projects often require the collection of data for analysis, design, monitoring and numerical modeling purposes. The staff of MRD Associates, Inc. has collected and analyzed winds, waves, tides and currents for a multitude of projects to document existing conditions and gain an in-depth understanding of coastal processes affecting the project site. MRD offers Real Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS for precision positional accuracy on all of our remote sensing surveys. We provide storm data collection services to document the physical characteristics during these extreme events including the timely deployment of current, tide and wave gauges, and immediate pre- and post-condition surveys.
